How i intend to survive my 1st harsh winter

Tohoku area *Northern part of Japan*  as it is closer to Hokkaido have long winters compared to other parts of Japan. Usually the winter starts from mid nov all the way to March.

Everyone especially my mother in law are worried about me able to withstand the harsh climate. Shota even went to the extent of plastering and gluing every single section of the windows and gaps to prevent the cold wind from coming into the house.  We spent hours doing each section each time and now if you ever visit my house, all our windows are sealed lol! None apart from the bathroom window can be open haha!

Thank you okaasan for constantly sending warm and expensive inner wear and blankets to us and Shota for ensuring that i do not shiver in cold in the house when he was away.

snowing again!

what a pretty sight. i have a love/hate relationship w snow.

if you look at grey and black lines, its all covered up by shota to prevent cold wind coming in

2 layers! 1 layer of reflective sheet, another layer of thick curtain

Senior popping by to say hello! 5 layers of blankets for now!

New heater

we use towel or mat to place on top of each cover of water pipes

i wear it when even socks are not warm enough for me! cute right!
