Happy Birthday Mum, you are FOREVER young and beautiful in our eyes!
This is your first birthday that i can't physically be with you ever since i was born. Although now we hardly able to see each other, i always think of uguys whenever i see certain stuff. Like when i go see small and cute stuff or hong baos type of packaging, i will remember you. Or how you can't survive without chill and constantly grumble why no chilli in some countries haha! You are always the resourceful mum with plenty of smart advices for us.
I knew you had taken more than 1 year to accept the fact i will be going Japan permanently. In the beginning, whenever we talked about it regardless where we were, e.g MRT, foodcourt etc you will immediately have tears rolling down. You couldn't send me to the airport because of that as well. As you know, i am not good at comforting nor a patient person, hence i will change topic. Forgive me for my bad temper and my impatient.
Being here without my parents protection, i have learn to be more independent. I am now able to hit or catch certain bugs, recognise which vegetables or fruits are fresher, cook basic fried rice. I guess if i continue to stay in Singapore, i would not have pick up those skills. But i will always remain Mummy's girl.
