3rd event: Tea ceremony. Seemed like high school tea ceremony club that demonstrated the steps . The room was too small for the whole group of us and I was sitting at the exit and cramping my legs.
4th event: Japanese traditional songs and dance.
5th event: Yukata Dress up. This was the number 1 favourite by the ladies in my group. They were gasping and exclaiming when the other groups show up in yukata. We were the last group. They got to bring back the yukata as well, made me want to have my own yukata. But I won't be able to wear it myself.
Last, all the groups gathered to take group photo and our mission was done! I was exhausted by the end of it. Forgot its was typhoon day and was shocked to see the carpark flooded! By the time I reached my car, I had to pour out the water from my shoes. Luckily, once I drove out the parking lot, the rest of road back home was fine.
Side note: Talked to the boys in my group, really young like 19, 20 and 23. The young lady was 18 as well. Came to Japan on a tour and the town they came from has history with Misawa and hence every year there are tour groups coming to Misawa and vice versa. During their tour, they also visited Tokyo and then back to Misawa and home-stay with the Japanese locals.
