Tokyo Day 1

We went Tokyo last Monday! It was initially a guy's trip which they are renting a car to go hike Mt Fuji then they will spend 2 days at Tokyo. I wasn't planning to go along as i have no confidence of conquering the World Heritage. However since Kristi wants to go then we can have a girls trip! Kinda of miss the big city, fancy department stores lol!

We took local train from Misawa to Hachinohe *that's where we need to board the bullet train (Shinkansen) Total cost around 15,700 yen one way which is $220 sin. Pretty expensive huh... Its a 3 hrs journey from Hachinohe station to Tokyo. For 2 nights, we stayed at Kristi's friend Terumi's house. She is so kind to offer us her place to stay and allow a stranger (which is me of course) tag along. This is where i fell in love with the sweetest dog ever!

We reached Tokyo around 1.10pm and made it to Terumi's place at 1.30pm? Its wasn't that hard to find as she stayed super near to the station exit. We dropped our bags and freshened up and headed to Ginza.

Before the trip, i asked Kristi to give me a list where she wanna go and she gave me 2 macaroons store, 1 doughnuts store and they weren't even technically from Japan! I said to her those were only stopovers not tourist attractions lol! You need to give me others...... She replied as long we go to these places she wanted, we can go wherever i wanted. This lady is too easy lol! You just need to give her desserts and she's happy.

Thereafter, we headed to Roppongi  to do some sightseeing and meet Terumi and her friends for dinner.

Shota drove us to the Misawa station which is 10 mins drive away.

We made it to Hachinohe station! I told Kristi not to bring luggage as in Tokyo, u constantly have to climb up or down the stairs.

Our bento box brought at station, we love seafood!

So this is store she is dying to come, Laduree @ Ginza. She said the macaroons are sent daily from Paris

That's the high tea set- 3500yen each. Pricey but worth it. Do remember to order tea as all the desserts are sugary coated, otherwise you will be like *someone else* struggling with her hot chocolate.

Macaroons were indeed good! especially citron macaroon!

Scenery at Roppongi Hills
Tokyo Tower

cheers!
