Since September, I have been keeping myself busy and with S's encouragement, I started attending Japanese classes to make new friends and interact with others with Japanese. So far, from Monday to Wednesday, I am attending different classes organised by various organisations.
Monday class by Misawa International Centre: Depending on your level, they might separate into 2 classes. Since we have a group whom roughly know our Japanese, usually worksheets are given out and we mostly converse in Japanese, since after the lesson, there's another Kanji writing class later. Its a smaller group usually 4 person and I met my Malaysian classmate!
Tuesday class by Michinoku International Japanese Education Center (MIJEC) in Hachinohe. There are 5 level of classes conducted on the same day and time. Hence anyone can switch the class according to your level. Its a non profit organisation and all teachers are on volunteer basis so the fee is low. Heard about this place before but it takes 45 minutes to a hour drive by car and I can't make it every week since S has no fixed off day on Tuesday. Just nice my Monday class American classmates are also going for this class and I asked if I can join in. They said yes! Really thankful and appreciative of their kind gesture of picking me up and taking me along with them even though my house is kinda of out of the way for them. Met new classmates from China and Vietnam here as well.

Wednesday class (FREE!) is conducted on Misawa Air Base by Misawa Airman & Family Readiness Center and Japanese Self Defense Forces. I found this class fun and interesting as every week they focus on different topic of real life scenerio and got the JSDF personnel to role play. Each person will be pair with one or two JSDF to practise with. Most of the Japanese are from JSDF since it is organised by them and they are interested in speaking/practising English. Casual and realistic way to use your Japanese in daily life since usually typical Japanese class will teach from the textbook and more formal. Typically the way Japanese speak and what "we" learnt from the textbook is very different and that is what I want to learn most of all! I made many new friends here!
