Since there were some time available before dinner, we went to have a short tour around the ryokan. It seemed that time had froze during the historical Edo era. Although Fujiya ryokan was reconstructed in 2009, it did not stick out like a sore thumb. While i was engrossed in snapping shot after shot around my surrounding, suddenly a big block of snow fell 1 step away from my position. Phew!! That was close! Didn't want to end up spending so much, enduring 7 hours journey, not enjoying of it and had to send to hospital instead lol.. Surprisingly the dinner was more than we had expected, in fact we were full even before the final few were served. I ended up not touching my cup noodles throughout the trip.
