Rice Field Art @ Inakadate (田舎館村)

Inakadate is a small village which had a population of around 8000 people in Aomori Prefecture. They are famous for with their rice paddy art which attracted visitors every summer. They were reported by the local news and i pointed out to him that i wish to visit the stunning artwork. And so we went which took us 2 1/2 hours to drive all the way there. i was napping almost throughout the journey since we woke up since 6am to head out. Well... I have a tendency to fell asleep in various modes of transportation easily which annoy him easily. The rice paddy art was located in 2 different locations within the village and it was so impressive to see it in person. They used different type of rice which consisted of different colours to enhance the image they created. From this article link below, it was said that it took 1,200 of the local villagers to create. Its was worth the trip of us suffering 35ºC under the scorching sun.
