Hideji Reaction

When I was in labour, heard that my dog was constantly waiting for me. His usual routine would be just lazing in a corner and ignoring our daily activities. Yet with me gone (I heard), he was waiting for me at our entrance, no appetite and checking out if I was came when S came back home.
Missed him so badly during my hospitalisation, we were never apart and he was used to me being home everyday.

The first day when I came back home with new addition to the family, he was uncertain what to make of the newcomer. Especially when A started crying, he tried to bite A's clothes (maybe he thought A was attacking us).Took him few weeks to adjust to the baby.... Now he just ignored A's cries, did not even bother to lift up his head! (sometimes when A cried too long or too many times, he would look up and gave a resigned look that seemed to saying.... "not again... do not disturb me lol!"

My friend has some kind of fanasty about pet dog being best friends or protective with the child. To the extent, she would tag me to all sorts of video showcasing dogs playing or protecting the kid. I really don't see it happening with my dog haha! There are high possibility that he will even escape from A!

Due for Labour (part 3)

Day 4
Started another course of inducing and the pain was beyond my limits. Every hour the pain intensified and i wanted to smash the needle away and tell them just kill me or the baby instead. Shall spare you the gruesome details of delivery process. To be frank, the induction pain was the worst compared to my delivery. Still shudder at thought of it.

Later on i found out they prepared operating table for c-section in case i could not deliver naturally. If that happened, the thought of strangling my gyane did cross my mind. Looking back I understood why the doc made the decision, natural birth does have its benefits.

I was able to walk around after birth. In fact, i went to chat with my new found friend until we were advised by the nurse to rest. The weariness only kick in the next day. Going to toilet was not an issue even after the anesthesia wore off (of course i was taking pain killers). In comparison, my friend (natural birth w epidural, not sure if she was induced) commented she could feel the burning pain on her thighs even when she took painkillers. Or was it because the extreme pain i suffered during labour that other pain became insignificant lol!

P.S usually newly mothers will post and upload pictures with captions how joyful and appreciative they are with their baby. My first words to my baby was "怖い". Really looked like alien :p
