I was allocated to 3 schools and the first school was the furthest away (40 minutes drive). My program coordinator wanted me to find song that the kids can sing and dance. I found an English song and was rejected as she preferred it in other language as it was similar what they are doing for English class. As they had instructor from China before, I went to search easy Malay song then. She also required me to find Singapore "traditional" dance and I said I can't dance. I can't even dance let alone traditional dance.
The first day of my class (4 classes that day) I was full of anti-caption and nervous, not sure what to expect. I was asked to seat in the principal office while class representatives would come and announced their arrival and invite me to their class in English. They looked as nervous as I was haha! Few forgot what they were supposed to say in English but they relaxed once I spoke Japanese to me. As they lead the way, they were whispering to each other about me and I looked at them and said I can understand Japanese haha! They were all so adorable!
Really enjoyed it!! So new and exciting!
P.s when i told S abt the part, some kids would said she knows Japanese, he said its not a good meaning for me. It meant as a warning to the rest she knows Japanese so we better not say anything bad in front of her thinking she did not understand lol....
