Always enjoyed going Japan Day on base, many activities to try and see. This year I participated in some activities like Tea ceremony, calligraphy and koto. My calligraphy was really bad yet S insisted to frame it up at home next time. I wish to throw it away..... Koto was quite fun, it was my first time playing an instrument since primary school lol. Wanted to try kimono but gave up upon seeing the long line waiting for their turn.
As we left, saw Yuka's husband and Spin (their dog), it was funny to see him with purple Hello Melody small bag (for dog use) and carrying Spin in another arm walking back home. They walked to base from home but since Spin was exhausted, he carried her back instead.

| 2nd Tea with milder taste. Did not know that the tea will change its flavor when water boiled at different temperature was added. Both tea used the same leaves yet such drastic difference in taste. |
