Hideji Neutering Adventure

We decided to neuter Hideji due to various reasons: prevent certain illness, have no intention to breed more dogs, reduce his marking territory and trying to escape from house to search for female dogs etc.

Like normal surgery for human, Hideji was not allowed to be given water & food from night before. Next morning. we put him in the cage and drove to the clinic, I guess Hideji could sense something was wrong. He was whimpering all the way and looked uneasy regardless how we tried to comfort him. Brought along his cage to the clinic as we were not sure how he would behave and he had not been trained by us yet (Basic commands like sit, wait). Surprising he was so well-behaved that we did need to make in the cage, neither bark nor whimper.

We left him at the clinic in the morning and collected him in the evening, the nurse told us that he was really well behaved but the moment we entered the clinic, he would sensed us and kept whimpering in the room. Had to wear his neck collar for 10 days and he look like an alien hehe!

Very well behaved in the clinic maybe due to unfamiliar surrounding

was quite envy of S holding Hideji and i managed to get my turn. So far it was my first time to carry him

Fell asleep in my arms

Looked so resigned wearing his neck collar, to prevent him licking his wound.
