This year i have been going to several camp's open house, this time we went to Camp Aomori. As usual, S was waiting in anticipation upon the date of arrival and kept rushing me to leave the house. This time we went with my father in law as well and i only realised that the camp was quite near to his new working place. It was raining when we were on our way but thankfully the sky cleared up when we reached the destination.
Their demonstration was very exciting with 3 helicopters flying around and tanks engaged in explosion. Few kids ended up crying due to sudden and loud explosions. Overall it was very entertaining and we arrived at the right time. In previous trips we reached early and ended up having to wait 1 hour or more and i ended up getting tired and impatient. If there is somewhere to sit then its not so bad but there were few seats and usually occupied. I had learnt to bring my big trash plastic bag to use as a mat lol. Felt embarrassed but it was light and able to fold inside my small bag, much better than having to carry heavy mat all around.
