Rokkasho Salmon catching Festival

We went to the town called Rokkasho that's 1 hour plus drive to attend the salmon festival. You can buy the ticket and participate in catching 1 salmon within 5 mins and bring it back home. Those salmons are from the ocean and supposedly tastier than river salmons.

We did not participate in the catch and i missed the part where the participants were catching it in the pool. We were having wonderful time checking out food and eating variety of food lol! By the time we went to see it, it had already ended... Don't worry! 2 weeks later, there will be another Salmon catching festival in my town, OIRASE but it will be river salmon instead. If we are free, we will go and i will not miss the process this time.

Those salmons were huge and cheap! The food sold were so fresh and delicious! I noticed majority of the people participating in the catch were mostly Americans. Shota saw a couple of his colleagues there and they all caught a salmon each! Poor fishes......

I feel bad for Shota that he always have the idea i am bored at home and that he should take me everywhere to see interesting events or places. Of course i would love to check out all the places but i am more concern for him not being able to rest on his day off and have to drive long hours back and fro straight after he ended his work. I know most of people would prefer to rest and slack at home whole day instead. Thank you! Bubu! You are the best! You have sacrifice most of your time for me and your dark eye circles start appearing since my arrival lol! Your health and sleep is more important to me than these places so please do not feel obligated to do it when you are tired ok?
