5 things that i have yet to get used to.

i have been staying for 5 days and there are just a few stuff that i have yet to get used to or i wish its done the same back at home.

1.  Sorting out trash into several piles. E.g. Burnables such as paper, food waste. Plastics, Pet bottles, can drinks. So i have to separate into different category every time. Most are pretty easy BUT if you have an envelope that have plastic protection, you would have to tear the paper around it and throw them differently. Or the bottle has plastic packing, you would also need to tear them away. I would sometimes throw them in the wrong pile and pick it up again ;p.
In addition, they have specifics days for them to be collected at main rubbish area. Like Mon and Wed is for plastic, then Tue is for burnables. I had yet to written that down. TEDIOUS!

2.  Having a bathtub is pretty cool since sporeans house hardly have that in our HDB. Unfortunely, Shota loves taking hot baths "temperature that goes about 45 to 50 degree" in the cold weather. Its an absolute torture for me! I can just go, 1 leg in and 1 leg out again back and fro.. or juz stand in the bathtub and couldn't bear to sit in the tub. I feel like a boiling lobster, ripe to be eaten. Shota....... You might find me one day cooked in the bathtub.

3. Why did i have so many bruises on my legs since i got here? I have no idea how i got them... Shota?? did     you beat me up while i was sleeping?? LOL.... JUZ KIDDING....
No idea at all! I looked like i been abused!

4. This my living room with tatami mat covering. This is the only table we have for now so.... everything is done there... eat, study, surf computer... see the small [chairs] i have, we just got it yesterday as i can no longer bear to keep sitting and getting up so many times. My poor knees... I feel like a old woman whenever i try to get up lol! My back aches as well since i have nothing to support my back.

5. Our bed is actually 2 single beds combined into 1. Its pretty expensive to get a queen or king bed in Japan. The bed sheets, blankets cost a couple hundred so we decided its not worth it for now. Every morning we have to fold our mattress so it won't get spoil as underneath, the water will condense in the night and it will get wet. So we have dry it by folding it. My heart still wish for a nice bed seen in tv or ikea, sobsob.....
