Misawa Aviation & Science Museum

Due to shota's interest in military, we went to Aviation Museum. We just explored around, the surroundings is so serene. Usually i have zero interest in this kind of stuff especially with this hot weather but due to recent japanese tv show. Very good storyline and i love the actor on the right!

Later on, we met Kristi and Bao for dinner. Went to Okinawa restaurant and yakitori place. Was busy eating so didn't take alot pics at yakitori place. I rarely put pictures of me now since i have been gaining weight ever since my wedding. I shall let my food do all the talking then :p

My bday present from Bao n Kristi

I hate to embrace bugs or whatever... sobsob

Once you move to countryside, 1 thing you have to get used to having bugs being part of your life. For example, now its the spider season so things that you place outside your house like bicycles, plants will have tiny web around them. Every time you destroy it, 2 days later its here again. So annoying...

I realised every time when shota is working, i will definitely encounter 1 creepy bug, so far i killed  sprayed it to death were 3 houseflies, brown cricket, moth and wasp.  

Before you judge me, i am terrified of bugs, insects especially those flying types. I cannot live in peace with them in my house, if im outside i will stay away. If you don't mess with me, i will do the same. When im back in my old home, i always shut my windows at night. If unfortunately they still get in and my parents are already sleeping.... i will slowly, quietly grab my pillow n blanket, switch off the computer and exit my room and sleep in other available room with door shut.  

Here i can't do the same since i only have 1 bedroom lol so my method is spraying although my mum said i will poison myself one day instead. 

Just now, when i was collecting mail outside my house and spray pesticide outside my windows.. Suddenly a duck or at least it was a size of a duck burst out from my garden and started running away. Im like what the hell!! It made such a loud sound... so i continue walking towards it... Another heart attack! 3 - 4 more birds are bursting out and escaping away..... Wow i have no idea my garden bed become a gossiping hideout for them. Its was kinda of comical as some just walked really fast. Please no more heart attack for me, my heart can't take any more of it. Hey birds or ducks, you can hangout at my garden all you want but can you do it openly so i can see you and scared the shit out of me. I do appreciate that, thank you! The rest..... bday trip at sendai and miyagi

I went to Sendai for my bday trip which is the biggest city in tohoku area where they have big brand like ZARA, LV, Hermes etc... Its was a 4 hrs plus drive using the toll-way and thanks bubu for driving all the way back and fro! I knew its must have been tiring for you and it didn't help that we slept at times. Too bad its was raining when we arrived at sendai and there were no parking at the hotel. We had fun though! All the constant eating and drinking! Here are the pictures!

5 things i could get used to compare in spore

Since earlier i had posted certain stuff which i find it tedious. It is fair that i should post what i deem to be thankful in Japan

1. Their sample for food tasting is sooooo generous! Look at the kiwi, yup! Thats the fruit sampling! i was stunned when they handled it to me and they also had the same size for gold kiwi! Im too embrassed to try the gold kiwi and at some supermarkets the price are the same for both gold and green kiwi. In singapore, golden kiwi cost more actually. Same goes for other food samples... i love trying them hahaa!

2. Fresh air, water, beautiful nature. What's not to love!? Shota and my parents commented my complexion is getting better ever since i got here. i drink water from the tap and it taste fresh.

 3. Cakes and ice creams!!!! I prefer japanese cakes as they are lighter and less creamy. I dislike looking at the creams and imaging how much weight i going to gain yet again. Their ice-creams are my favourites cos they are usually make and source the milk locally. im getting hungry as im typing away now.

 4. Able to have own small garden. Space is so expensive in my city and so boring. All HDB looks the same with no personality. But here, as i cycled around. All of houses are decorated with different plants and flowers, its a joy to explore the houses. To Kristi whom is complaining that i cycle like a old lady.... i like to take in the view not merely just cycle lol!

we still have long way to go to remove the weeds especially since i can't help much with my back. This is still a small area.

5. i can take bath now! In Singapore, only the rich with big houses have nice bathtubs. Majority of us only have shower-heads. I always have the fantasy of playing bubbles foams like those shown in commercials. I am getting better withstanding the high temperature of the water. Not to mention the toilet warmer is god send!  

6. Best of all.......<drum rolls>....... My new ichiban wonderful friends! Bao and Kristi! We love their company, such sweet couple! Petite Kristi is always bullying the Bao whom looks mean with his height and build! Who knows that Kristi is the bully instead! Shota!!!! i also want to be the bully!!! Let me have my turn! My life would be so bored in Misawa without them and they are so warming.

My poor back

I suffered severe upper back pain on wed. It was so intense that i am bedridden most of the time for 2 days. Might be the cause by incorrect sleeping posture since the moment i woke up, i realised i couldn't get up. I can't lift my head up nor turn side to side, had to slowly roll towards only to my left to get out of the bed.

Shota was out fishing with his fren when it happened and he rushed back home to check on me even though i told him not to. He brought me to physiotherapy later on and the moment i walk towards the doctor. He said woa....  I bet he haven't seen a patient so young yet had such a stiff back lol....

He told shota i have to do stretching exercise daily and exercise otherwise any small incidents will trigger my severe back pain. Its so scary, i do not want it to happen again..... its like half paralysis and with all the pain.

2nd night, due to my constant sleeping in the afternoon and lousy pillow among my neck pain and backache, i couldn't sleep.... so...... i started throwing tantrums and kicking my blanket. Shota did woke up and asked me how was i but he fell right back to sleep once i said im ok. My heart was screaming lousy husband!!!

I would like to apologise to Shota! Sorry for being difficult during the night and that you took unpaid leave as you were so worried. Thank you for cleaning up the house and checking on me frequently.

In the end, my mother in law brought a pillow for me that costs around $200 sin.
