Hideji in Various beanies

My mil kept S's old baby clothes including few caps and beanies. Was looking through all of them and realised the size might fit my dog! Of course, he was trying to resist and take them down but when I used happy tone and kept praising him how cool and handsome he was... He stopped trying to remove and allowed me to keep taking pictures~! Its was until I switched to number 5 or 6 hoodies, his face became reluctant and his expression was saying... that's enough!! haha!

His face started to change from this beanie... hehe

Looking so smart while waiting for his drive

Morioka Day Trip (Part 2)

Thought to drop by Koiwai Farm to eat ice cream or drink milk but when we reached we realised it was entirely block off and you need to pay 800 yen entrance fee per person to enter and enjoy the facilities. Seemed like there were many activities to do (archery, horse riding and etc), all chargeable. As we brought Hideji along and intended to go for lunch somewhere else, hence we left. Maybe next time!

I wanted to eat at nice cafe but S wanted to eat famous Jajamen so I went along with his choice. It tasted good and different but I won't want to eat it every time when I go Morioka. Girl still prefer nice atmosphere and has variety of choices!

Did not enter, shocked that we had to pay entrance fee to enjoy anything. Our bad... Did not research about the farm

Famous Jajamen in Morioka

once you finished 80% of your noodles, you cracked an egg and asked the staff to put boiled soup for you, add the seasoning according to your own preference and drink up!

S's recommended

My choice: Citrus, his choice: salted... both did not matched lol

Day Trip to Morioka (盛岡市) Part 1

Took a day trip to Morioka, originally intended to take non toll way (was shocked it took 4 hours to reach) hence we took toll road (2 hours). We went to Handi Works Square where the place showcase local craftsman, making of local products (food, sweets, dolls etc..). You can even try to do it yourself, just walk in and sign up will do. Each different product required different time duration and charged certain fee (You can refer to their website for more information). I wanted to try others like pottery but was uncertain of time since it was a short day trip and we had other places to go. Just only tried making the rice cracker (100 yen per person and only 10 minutes!).

(Forgive my fat face, I put on weight since my pregnancy :p)

Tubo Cafe @ Rokunohe

Tubo Cafe had changed its location to Rokunohe! Its located in new residential area where many new houses are built or in the process of construction. Seemed like a great place to raise kids! We were lucky enough to get the two last seats. In addition to the cafe, the owner also offered facial services when the cafe is not operating.

Birthday meal @ 香港ダイニング 十和田市 (Hong Kong Dining @ Towada)

Kinda of forced S to celebrate his belated birthday, we need to have a reason to celebrate at a restaurant chosen by me! (I was the one wanted to eat lol...). Made reservation for 5000 yen set meal each (sgd $65 per pax). Had to reservation few days in advance as Peking duck has to be ordered in advance. The menu actually had two options, one comes along with choice of drink (liquor, wine, sake) then food will be lesser while the other had no drink with more amount of food. I ordered the latter but no sure if they got it wrong or overheard it wrongly when I used my lousy Japanese to book it over the phone. The waitress show us the alcohol menu and said we could choose 1 drink. However, I told her I booked the one without alcohol.

The main reason I came back was for Peking duck, was expecting that the very least 3 slices of it but it turned out to be 1 big slice hahaha!... We were laughing inside the car after the meal. No complaint about the meal and we knew Peking duck would not be much...

Fish & prawns tasty!

tada!! the one and only slice of peking duck!
