While we were in lala land (5 plus in morning), S's hp beeped in alarm "Missile from North Korea had been fired towards our region. Seek shelter at underground or building". It would only took 4 minutes for missile to hit us. My mind was still groggy at the moment while S was wide awake and checking the news and radio with his phone. I wanted to even continue sleeping since there was nothing we could in 4 minutes anyway. Just then, my phone rang and it was my Singaporean friend living in Misawa. She was home alone and in panic, asking me where she should evacuate to. I asked S and there are no shelter or underground bomb shelter in Tohoku region at all. After chatting awhile, I realised she was outside her house and told her to go back in.
The second time it happened was just 6 days ago at 7 am. Same thing with the alarm blasting but this time we were less alarmed. Like usual, I wanted to doze off again... I think I too bo chap lol..... My friend called again, she was home alone yet again. Reassured her (took shorter time this time lol) and I drifted into sleep. Of course it was a scary moment knowing the missile had fired toward East Japan but within 4 minutes what can one do? Nothing....
