Dinner @ Palm Beach Seafood Restaurant

My bro's co gave them $700 to spend on Chinese New Year dinner, the only request is to take family photo haha! Therefore, he brought us to Palm Beach restaurant near the merlion since he said the taste was good and price was reasonable. We were the first group to reach but ate the last as apparently our orders did not reach the kitchen and we waited 1 hour unknowingly. We might have continue waiting if the staff did not realised it as my brother said the food take some time to arrive. They also came with the wrong order, we ordered the largest chilli crab and it back small black pepper crab. Despite of the hiccups, the service of staff were courteous and the meal were satisfying good. In total we spent $350 and can spend on next meal again!

Lunch @ Ikea and Dinner @ Chir Chir

Went to accompany my mum to meet her sister at Ikea for lunch. Was expecting it to be alot more tastier since I heard about the long queue during weekend. Only the chicken wings were good, the rest were blah! Wouldn't come here for food again. 

On other hand, dinner at Chir Chir with my friends at Chinatown Point was very tasty. The menu had very limited variety but the portion was big to share among 3 of us. Our appetite shrank since we last met haha! YL used to be able to eat 2 portion of rice and all the rest, gave up after 2 dishes. She gave me the now popular "secret garden" colouring book. Been curious about my friends posting their colouring in facebook and now I can try it myself. Thank you!

Stay @ Marina Bay Hotel

My dad booked a night stay at MBS since they were offering at a discounted price. Headed to Bread Street Kitchen by Gordon Ramsay. It was located at end of left side of the shopping mall. The staffs were friendly and welcoming and the Fish and Chips was delicious. Portion of the fish was small but tender inside and crispy outside. Too bad that I ordered eggs with salmon and the bun, too salty.

The next day when we checked out and we had lunch at Plaza Singapura, I realised I forgot to take my expensive macaroons (barely eaten) from the fridge.I went back alone taking the train, got the room card from concierge then realised the fridge was locked lol. Called the operator to unlock the fridge, but no macaroons inside. Turnout that the housekeeping took it and when they returned it back to me, 1 was gone...... Apparently they also appreciated good desserts lol....... I didn't make any fuss as I was glad they didn't finish all otherwise I had came back for nothing.
