2014 Pizza Carnival in 七戸

Once in a year, pizza festival in Shichihohe is here! He intended to go Hachinohe for blood donation but upon seeing the poster, he quickly decided to attend this instead. Its a hour drive away and we headed out early in the morning. I discovered there's beautiful women everywhere and he said that this town is famous for having pretty ladies. Probably we should move here as well so my future daughter can be prettier haha! There was a free candy floss machine but i noticed only kids were holding it. Me, being thick skin went to get free candy floss when nobody was queuing. The staff passed it to me and saying its for kids or something :p. Japanese pizza is thin crusted and sweet flavour. I love thin crust!

Exercise Time!!

I need to exercise! My weight has not been decreasing at all...... He always said im like doramon now, all round and slow. I cannot continue on to be like this but he will always say lets eat this and that! Food is my weakness, how can i say no! sobsob

I like climbing mountain but when i just started climbing for like 10 mins, i started panting and dizzy. Everytime i wish i can give up, the nasty other "partner" would get stern and commanded i continue on. The hike is at least 3 hours and more for me, but for him and his colleagues they took only 1 hour! When can i catch up with the elderly folks! Even they are faster than me!

Food!

Recently i always have craving for Chinese food, i guess i miss Singapore food and my mum's cooking too much. Especially my mum's curry chicken, soups, fried rice!!! So even though Japan chinese resturant's food varieties are quite different but when i tasted fried rice i feel happier haha! My parents and uncle are coming to visit me next week, can't wait to show them around!

My parents in law have a garden around their house and my father in law will grow all sorts of plants. He's the expert in farming, recently they sent us 4 plants of asparagus grown by him for us since we are not successful in ours.  When we went to their house, he showed me the plant that he took from the mountain, it supposed to grow only in mountain area. Since the winter is over, we started planting seeds in our garden, we shall see which are successful.

Flowers around my house

Been enjoying the small surprises in my life recently. Everyday i will check on different flowers blooming in my area or other people house. Past few day i was looking with envy at tulips blossoming at other houses and yesterday i saw a red tulip at my garden! Since the house is rented from Shota's boss, we had alot plants and trees but we have no idea what they are. Even now its decorating our life with pretty colours, we still have no clue at else will continue to bloom. I like this surprise!

Hirosaki Cherry Blossom Festival 2014

Here we are! Heading to one of the famous spot of Cherry Blossom sightseeing in Tohoku region. From Misawa, we drove to Aomori and took train to Hirosaki. The train was packed with visitors all the way from Yokohama or Tokyo, wanting to view the scenery as well. We met 2 lovely old ladies from Yokohama on the train, they were so impressed with our talking speed in English, told us they had learnt English but they could barely understand us since we are talking way too fast. When we went back to Aomori, we saw them again taking the same train back! 

Sad to say, the castle will be rebuilding after this festival and it will take 10 years for it to finish reconstruction. So this is the last year to see the famous scenery.

you can rent a boat. alot of families and couples doing that and only the guys were doing all the work haha
